Product & stock
You can determine your glove size by measuring your hand and using the size guide on our product pages.
See also "Size guide".
If you wish, you can also print out our guide here.
Use mild soap, sush as household soap, and a soft cloth.
On leather gloves use glycerine soap very lightly to clean them, and then apply leather milk to nourish them.
WARNING!
Do not use bleach or softener.
Do not put your gloves in the washing machine: it could affect the quality of your glove materials and treatments.
It depends on the fitting you want and the composition of the glove.
You can determine the fitting of each item using the "Cut" indications shown on our product pages.
TIP: Leather gloves tend to expand over time, so ensure that you choose the smaller size.
Our heating collection
When you buy heated gloves, they come in a box with:
- The gloves
- Two batteries
- A charger
- User instructions
Wash your heated jacket by hand, removing the energy bank (external battery) first.
WARNING!
Do not use bleach or softener.
If you are not going to use your heated gloves for more than 2 weeks, remove the 2 batteries and keep them away from moisture to optimize their service life.
TIP: For best results, turn on your gloves five minutes before using them.
Do not put your gloves on a hot surface to dry them (wood-burning stove, fireplace, radiator, etc.)
For the outside use a damp cloth as well as a mild soap like Marseille soap.
To deodorize the interior, you can use non-allergenic essential oils for skin contact, or a deodorant/disinfectant spray like those used for shoes.
You can also place bamboo charcoal deodorizing pouches in the glove.
As Lithium is a fragile material that reacts to a variety of factors (outside temperature, climate, observing rechargin cycles, etc.), they should last 2 hours (for the highest intensity) and up to 4 hours 40 minutes (for the lowest intensity).
TIPS: Please note that using your gloves' boost mode will considerably reduce battery life.
Your charger has a LED that changes from red (flat batteries) to green (batteries charged >80%).
TIP: In order to charge your batteries fully, we recommend leaving them on charge for 4/5 hours, even if the LED goes green. Taking your batteries off charge early will reduce battery.
We recommend that you recharge your batteries ideally every 2/3 months. When preparing to put your heated gloves away for a long period (>2 weeks), it is important to:
1 - Set your batteries to a charge level of between 30 and 50%. This level is reached when the LED flashes green.
2 - Store your batteries somewhere not subject to high temperatures (<25°C). The lower the room temperature, the better the storage/wintering conditions.e.
3 - Carry out an operating cycle: Charge (100%) / Discharge (at 30/50% threshold)
TIPS: To limit the risk of runaway, degassing and ignition, store your batteries in a metal or PVC box.
The way our heated gloves are manufactured means that you can heat the top, the most exposed area. The inside of the fingers and palm are better protected.
The heating structure extends to the end of each finger and folds back slightly to ensure that the end of each finger heats up, this the area which is most sensitive and fragile.
WARNING
Batteries are a consumable subject to significant wear depending on the use made of them.
Our batteries are guaranteed for 6 months after the purchase date. This period is extended to 2 years for the following reasons only:
1 - Battery swelling.
2 - Total absence of battery charge.
Yes, you can buy additional batteries.
For some heated gloves, you can connect two batteries in the same glove, which will double the range. This will give you up to 10 hours of battery life using the lowest intensity.
This section covers Connectic 5, Connectic 5 Mitt, Eglove 4, Eglove Urban 4, Heat 4 and Reaction gloves.
Your gloves are switched on but go orange and red very quickly?
Charge your batteries for at least 4 hours.
If the problem persists, contact the Racer after-sales service
This section covers Connectic 5, Connectic 5 Mitt, Eglove 4, Eglove Urban 4, Heat 4 and Reaction gloves.
There are several possible causes.
1. Your gloves are not matched
On 1st use, you must match your gloves. Refer to the user instructions or do the following:
a. Connect the battery to the right glove
b. Press the button for 10 seconds until glove flashes "purple"
c. Connect the battery to the left glove
d. The glove light should go green and then go out.
If this fails, repeat the procedure two or three times. If the problem persists, contact the RACER after-sales service support department.
2. Connected mode is triggered
Ensure that you press the button for 2-3 seconds, then release it.
By double-pressing the button, you trigger connected mode: the glove will try to connect to the app rather than the other glove to heat up.
3. The module has been set to forced standby
After a long period of non-use, the left glove can be switched to off mode to preserve the battery.
If this is the case, disconnect the battery from the left glove and reconnect it. For the right glove, just pressing the button will be sufficient.
RACER heated gloves are guaranteed for 2 years.
Batteries are guaranteed for 6 months after purchase.
INFORMATION: If, within a year of purchase, you notice battery swelling, we will send new batteries if the recommended conditions of use have been met.
CAUTION
